Privacy policy

Effective August 25, 2026. Controller: Untracked Software, Via Augusta, 08006 Barcelona, Spain. Contact: support@untracked.tools.

The short version

The tools we sell collect nothing. They run entirely inside your browser, make no network requests, and send no data anywhere — you can verify this by disconnecting from the internet and using them normally, or by watching your browser's network tab.

The shop does collect data, because it has to in order to take an order and send you a file. This policy is almost entirely about the shop.

1. What the tools do with your data

Nothing leaves your device. Specifically:

  • Files you open — images, PDFs, CSVs, video — are processed in your browser's memory. They are never uploaded.
  • Some tools save your work in your browser's local storage so it is still there next time. That data sits on your computer, is readable only by that tool on that browser, and never reaches us. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and we cannot recover it.
  • We receive no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reports, and no usage data from the tools. We genuinely do not know how or whether you use them.

2. What the shop collects

When you buy something we process:

Data Why Legal basis
Name, email, billing address To fulfil the order, issue an invoice, and send your download Performance of a contract
Country To apply the correct VAT rate Legal obligation
Payment confirmation To confirm the order was paid Contract / legal obligation
Order and invoice records Tax and accounting law Legal obligation
Support emails To answer you Legitimate interest

We never see your full card details. Payment is handled by the payment provider; we receive only confirmation of payment and the last digits.

3. Who processes data for us

  • Shopify — storefront, checkout, order records, download delivery.
  • Our payment provider — payment processing; an independent controller for its own fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Email delivery — order confirmations and support correspondence.

Each acts under a data-processing agreement. Some may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. Cookies

The shop uses cookies necessary for the cart and checkout to function. Any analytics or marketing cookies are set only with your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner and change at any time.

The tools themselves set no cookies whatsoever.

5. How long we keep things

  • Order and invoice records: as long as tax law requires — commonly seven years in the EU.
  • Support correspondence: up to two years after the conversation ends.
  • Marketing-list membership: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Email support@untracked.tools and we will respond within one month. You will not be charged, and asking will never affect your ability to buy or get support.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly you may complain to your national data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.

7. Marketing

We only email you about new products if you opt in. Every such email has an unsubscribe link. Order confirmations and security notices are not marketing and are sent regardless.

8. Children

The shop is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly process their data.

9. Changes

We will post any update here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting your rights will be flagged on the store front page.
