Terms of sale

Effective August 25, 2026. These terms govern purchases from https://untracked.tools, operated by Untracked Software, Via Augusta, 08006 Barcelona, Spain. Contact: support@untracked.tools.

1. What you are buying

Each product is a single HTML file that runs in your web browser. It is software you download and keep, not a subscription and not a hosted service. There is no account, no login, and no server component. Once downloaded, the file is yours and keeps working whether or not this store still exists.

Some products include additional files in the download — third-party licence texts, and for one product the complete source code of a bundled component. The download's README.txt lists everything included.

2. Licence

Unless the product states otherwise (see section 3), you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to:

  • use the tool for personal and commercial work, including client work, with no per-use, per-seat, or per-document fee;
  • install and use it on as many of your own devices as you like;
  • keep using the version you bought indefinitely.

You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the file itself, or present it as your own product. There is no licence key, activation, or DRM enforcing this — it is an honour-system term.

3. Products licensed under the GNU GPL

The Audio/Video Trimmer & Converter is different. It embeds a build of FFmpeg licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later, and is therefore distributed under those terms as a whole.

For that product, and any other we mark as GPL, the restriction in section 2 against redistribution does not apply. You may redistribute and modify it under the GPL, and the complete corresponding source ships inside the download in gpl-source/. Where these Terms and the GPL conflict, the GPL wins.

4. Delivery

Delivery is by digital download, immediately after payment. If your download link does not arrive or does not work, email support@untracked.tools and we will send the file directly.

5. Right of withdrawal, and our refund policy

For digital content delivered immediately, EU law asks you to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby give up the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.

Our own refund policy is more generous than the statutory minimum: we refund on request within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy for details. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under consumer law.

6. Versions, updates, and support

Every tool carries a version number and date in its footer. Quote it when contacting support.

You buy a specific version. We may release improved versions; we do not promise free upgrades, and we have no mechanism to push updates to a file already on your computer. If a bug is found in something you bought, email us and we will send you a corrected file at no charge.

Support is by email at support@untracked.tools. We aim to respond within a few working days. Support covers the tool working as described — not training, custom development, or the underlying tasks you use it for.

7. What the tools do not do

These tools run entirely in your browser and do not transmit your data anywhere. That also means we cannot recover your work. Anything a tool stores is held in your own browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time and which may be cleared by private browsing or by your own settings. Export or print anything you need to keep.

The tools are not a backup system, and they are not a substitute for professional advice. Documents they produce — invoices, contracts, certificates, expense reports — are starting points that you remain responsible for checking. In particular, contract and agreement templates are not legal advice, and mileage and expense output is not tax advice.

8. Requirements

Each product page lists the browsers and platforms it has been tested on, and states honestly where it has not been tested. Some tools rely on browser features only available in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge); those are identified on their product pages. Please read that section before buying — and if you buy something that turns out not to work on your setup, the refund policy covers you.

9. Warranty and liability

The tools are provided as is. We have tested them and documented what we found, including known limitations, but we do not warrant that they are free of defects or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by this section.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published at the time of your purchase; changes are not retroactive.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We would much rather you emailed us first — a refund is faster than a dispute, and we grant them on request.
